His Joint PhD in Malting & Brewing Science wasn’t just theoretical; it solved a core problem in the industry: how to make beer taste fresh for longer. This ground-breaking work on flavour stability earned him a patent and has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals.
But Tuur’s expertise isn’t confined to the lab. As the former Quality Manager at a renowned Belgian brewery, he put theory into practice every day. He optimized operations, maintained rigorous GFSI standards and used applied R&D to solve persistent, costly issues like product gushing. Tuur brings a rare combination of scientific authority and hands-on brewhouse reality to every challenge.
Nina De Vlieghere, Ing. | The operations architect
Nina De Vlieghere is an operations and project management expert who specializes in turning growing pains into streamlined success. She brings a wealth of experience from both corporate giants like PepsiCo and hyper-growth startups like Infarm, where she was instrumental in building the company into the world’s largest vertical farming operation.
Nina excels at applying this big-picture expertise to the unique challenges of the food and beverage industry. She led complex international expansions, managed new product innovation from concept to launch and built the efficient supply chains that make scaling possible.
